Coping

An exhibition about grief, delight & a pub community.

OPENING
Sunday May 17th, 3:30pm - 6:30pm
208 Johnston Street, Collingwood

After my mum died I didn’t know how I would be creative again. To cope, I focused on delight.

These sock puppets exist because of a pub community and are in honour of the positive way my mum chose interaction, colour and laughter throughout her life.

The Coping Exhibition will be spread across my own studio-gallery and Panacea bar next door. On display will be a series of 12 acrylic portraits of sock puppets, watercolour sock puppet studies, and 3D artworks.

STUDIO GALLERY HOURS
May 17th - 31st 2026
Thursday to Sunday, 3:30pm - 6:30pm
208 Johnston Street, Collingwood
